Smashin' Crab is one of the best seafood boil restaurants in San Antonio, TX. Many try to imitate but none are able to duplicate. This place is freaking awesome. A seafood lovers dream.
I'm not even sure where to start. Let's start off with the food, the food here is so flavorful. It's like a seafood lovers paradise. I got the Snow Crab, Cajun style, level 3 spice. The food comes out to you in a bag and you just use your hands to enjoy.
The service is great. It was our first time so our server, Robert, patiently explained how everything worked. Once the order is placed be prepared to be dawned with a bib by your server. Trust me you will be grateful they did. The service we received throughout the night was pleasant and attentive. The staff is so friendly and actually seem like they love their jobs.
It's a family feeling here. Everyone is laughing and having a great time. We were laughing and joking with the strangers to the left and right of us. All guards go down when you're eating seafood with your fingers. No utensils needed. The restaurant is in a good part of town so no need to worry about drama.
